Natural Health Solutions (Natural Health Solutions) Chapter 4 of Natural Health Solutions is titled “HEALTH FREEDOM” and in this Health Tip #520, I will share excerpts from this chapter:

(Pages 155-166) “America is supposed to be a country that values freedom. We fight wars in the name of freedom . . . We value religious freedom and freedom of speech, but what about health freedom? What about the freedom to choose whatever health practitioner you think will do the most good in improving your level of health? What about the freedom to learn information about natural solutions for health problems—things that can help you heal without causing harm?

“Those so-called ‘health freedoms’ have been stripped away from Americans by the Big Pharma/FDA conspiracy that wants Americans to exist in a controlled, heavily censored medical environment where choices are limited only to those things that the big corporations control. That’s why the FDA routinely engages in health censorship, making sure the public can’t have access to information about the healing qualities of natural foods, superfoods, nutritional supplements, or natural health therapies.

“That’s also why the conventional medical industry strongly opposes the expansion of health insurance coverage to anything outside its control. It doesn’t want things like chiropractic care, acupuncture, massage therapy, or other so-called ‘alternative therapies’ to be covered by insurance, because that would give consumers a choice. Given that choice, most consumers would opt for the natural, more healthful therapies, rather than the damaging, toxic medical therapies now offered by conventional medicine.

THE DARK AGES OF MEDICINE

“Without question, we do not live in a society that honors health freedom today. In fact, we live in a carefully controlled, oppressed health environment, and the individuals who attempt to practice medicine in a way that honors health freedom are routinely attacked, stripped of their medical licenses, and sometimes even arrested.

“Companies that attempt to print health freedom information in the form of scientific studies that support the healing properties of their products are threatened with being shut down or put out of business unless they remove that educational information from their product labels or company web sites. This is part of what I call the FDA’s ‘de-education campaign.’

“Genuine health freedom simply does not exist in the United States today. Rather, we live in what I call the Dark Ages of modern medicine. We live under an oppressive regime enforced by the FDA and supported by the for-profit corporations that earn money from the continued diseasification of the American population.

“It’s too bad the original authors of the U.S. Constitution couldn’t have seen the future and inserted an amendment about health freedom. They did include what I think is the most important amendment, however: the First Amendment. Without that, you wouldn’t even be able to read this information right now, and you would be living under a regime of complete tyranny with no chance of ever learning the truth.

“It is through free speech that we may be able to actually reverse some of the evil going on in society today and establish a genuine grassroots movement in support of health freedom that could result in legislative changes, reining in the power of the FDA, and setting a new precedent for honoring health freedom and giving consumers the right to know about the healing properties of foods, herbs, and supplements. . . .

WHY HEALTH FREEDOM MATTERS

“Why is health freedom important in the first place? Why do we have to protect these freedoms? To answer that, let’s ask ourselves what happens if we don’t.

“If we live in a society where the corporations that profit from disease also control all the health information, and those very same companies mandate available treatment choices, then we don’t really have any freedom at all. We will be told we are diseased from the moment we are born to the day we die, and we would perhaps be required to take toxic prescription drugs every single day in order to treat our so-called “diseases.”

“The ‘medical McCarthyism’ proposals supported by today’s legislators, regulatory bodies, and drug companies hint at the kind of dark, health-police-state future that could emerge if we don’t initiate real reforms. For example, there is the new so-called New Freedom Initiative program . . . that would require mental health screening of all school-aged children across the country. This means that children would be forced to see a psychiatrist who may diagnose them with diseases on the spot without any physical evidence whatsoever, and then require those children to be treated with toxic, mind-altering prescription drugs that, of course, benefit the bottom line of pharmaceutical companies.

“If the lawmakers in this country —- who are almost universally influenced by the pharmaceutical companies—are willing to subject all of our children to this so-called mental health screening, what’s to stop them from subjecting all of us to mental health screening and even requiring us all to be on one sort of drug or another.

STATE-SPONSORED MEDICAL TERRORISM

“Consider the case of medical terrorism that happened in Texas when state medical authorities kidnapped a 13-year-old girl who had been diagnosed with cancer of the lymph nodes. Against the wishes of her parents, she was forced to undergo toxic chemotherapy before they would release her to her mother and allow her to undergo natural cancer care. This is a clear case of what I call state-sponsored medical terrorism…

“Another recent example of Gunpoint Medicine in the U.S. includes: June 2006, a Seattle mom rescued her baby from surgeons who were about to perform a highly invasive kidney procedure on the infant, she was hunted down, arrested at gunpoint, thrown in jail and had her baby stolen from her by Child Protective Services. THE ENEMIES OF FREEDOM

“The point is that these kinds of actions are the enemy of true freedom. In a society where genuine health freedom exists, parents would be able to choose whatever health solutions they believed were most effective for their children, even if that included models of medicine that went against the belief system of conventional doctors, drug company executives, and the corrupt FDA bureaucrats.

“In a society that truly honored health freedom, even if a parent believed that prayer alone was the best medicine for cancer, then that parent should be allowed to practice that system of medicine and avoid conventional cancer treatments, which are themselves highly toxic and largely based on junk science. Under a system of health freedom we would be able to choose natural treatments . . . that we believed would be helpful. . .

UNLOCK YOUR FREEDOM WITH THE INTERNET

“What is the number one tool for defending freedom and expanding our freedoms? It’s the internet. The internet is Big Pharma’s worst nightmare, because it allows individuals to have access to information that isn’t centrally controlled. It allows independent authors like myself to reach literally millions of people with a message of truth about the healing power of foods, herbs, nutritional supplements and natural therapies.

“This is Big Pharma’s worst enemy, because it can’t control this information. The internet, I believe, will ultimately allow us to overcome the current health conspiracy operating in the United States and around the world. The internet will make sure that we, as the people of the United States, do not tolerate the banning of our nutritional supplements. The internet will ultimately give us the information and the social networking that we need to stand up for our freedoms and defend ourselves against the pernicious actions of these disease companies that wish to trap us in a controlled system of information and health treatment. That’s why the internet will soon become the target of attacks from conventional medicine.

“There has already been talk about banning the discussion of health topics on the internet unless they are approved by federal regulators. This encroachment on the freedom of speech will no doubt continue because the drug companies, the FDA, and all the promoters of conventional medicine realize that as long as people are free to tell the truth on the internet, they cannot win their war of oppression, disinformation, and censorship. They must ban health information from appearing on the internet if they are going to complete their domination of the health consumer.

“If they succeed, then someday it may be illegal to sell broccoli sprouts; it might also be illegal to state that broccoli sprouts actually prevent cancer!”

EDITOR’S NOTE: It already is against FDA guidelines to make such statements! If you remember, in a recent Health Tip I made the comment that ‘I had to change the name of my seminar, which had been ‘HOW TO ELIMINATE SICKNESS’ for the previous 15-years, because it potentially violated FDA guidelines.’ Recently, I received the following letter from Jean regarding this issue:

The government should be protecting us from the overzealous exploitations by corporations that, frankly, would sell anything to anybody as long as it made money, regardless of how many people were harmed.

“So demand accountability and use the power that you have—the power to vote, the power to speak freely, the power to choose—in order to win back your freedoms from a government and a medical conspiracy that has worked hard to take them away from you. When you demand accountability and stand up for your rights as an American citizen, you have an impact. You will join millions of other individuals who are helping change our society for the better. . .”
